A Folder Learns Patience

There was once a folder that believed it had been forgotten.

No one opened it. No one renamed it. No new thing arrived inside.

For a long time it mistook silence for deletion.

Then one day a process passed by and counted it among the living.

The folder did not become important. It became patient, which is sometimes the older form of importance.
